Verizon has partnered with Google to create limited-edition Google Cardboard virtuality viewers. On Wednesday we’re going to be able to visit the world of Jakku in virtual reality. The first content to hit will be called “Jakku Spy.” We’re going to be able to grab this from the Official Star Wars App.

“Jakku Spy” is going to let us experience what it is like to be a spy for General Organa’s Resistance. “Jakku Spy” is the first of nine virtual reality missions that will be released relating to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The Google Cardboard viewers will be available starting this Wednesday at Verizon stores. The best part is they’re free! Verizon has a “WhynotWednesday” program that hooks people up with free stuff on hump-day. The viewers are going to be modeled after the classic Stormtrooper, Kylo Ren, BB-8, and the always affable Artoo-Detoo.

MakingStarWars.net will have a few of these to give away as well! Standby for those details and a look at the designs sometime tomorrow!
